Earn your way into the strongest junior golf tournament field in North Carolina. Check out the ways to qualify and do your best to get in this prestigious junior golf event. Once you meet a qualifying standard an invitation and application will be mailed to you. We hope you'll earn and accept your invitation to play in the 2008 Joe Cheves Junior Invitational.

* 18-hole winning score must be 81 or better and 36-hole total must be 162 or better.
There must be at least 5 competitors playing from the same championship tees.

The JCJI Tournament Committee reserves the right to evaluate/restructure the on-going qualifier process each year.

Meet one of the criteria above and you will receive a JCJI Invitation, as long as you are still enrolled in high school. If a qualifier is a duplicate invitee or will not be eligible for the JCJI it does not cause the qualifier list to slide down to the next eligible player at each criteria event.

If the qualifying process has need, some at-large bids, or sponsor exemptions, may be extended to other USGA qualifiers, and/or similar national, regional and state tournament victories and high finishes.
